Thats all I hear for a long time
Deafining nothingness
The lights came next
Dimly at first but growing brighter
So much I had to sheild my eyes
I was aware, somewhere, someone was calling out
But they were so distant
Too softly spoken
To break into the reality of the situation
Then I felt the warm stickyness of blood
Running down my arms
Slowly creaping down my back
The other person seemed closer now
Not close enough
But they were there
And as the light faded to black
And the voices became louder, clearer
It hit me
